Clear Safety and Security Films

Anglian's range of Safety and Security Window Films are tested to BS6206 Class A and B and upgrade sub-standard glazing to meet the requirements of the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulation 1992 - and Regulation 14 1996.

Safety and Security Films are also specified to provide solutions to many other glass related safety problems including bomb blast protection. Anglian's "Approved Installers" have all the required knowledge and expertise to offer the right advice.

An Invisible Barrier of Protection

580 windows totalling nearly 6000 sq. ft of glass at BPP Holdings in London have been securely protected in the event of breakage following the installation of Anglian 175 Micron Clear Safety Film by Buckinghamshire based approved installer Shield (UK) Ltd.

Correctly specified and professionally installed Anglian's BS6206 Class A material is designed to retain fragments of glass in the event of impact or attack thus reducing damage and injuries that could otherwise occur from flying glass. The post impact barrier also acts to protect against the weather and frustrate any attempt to gain unauthorised entry into a building.

Express Rise to the Challenge

Specialist access equipment was required in order to complete the challenging installation of Anglian Clear Safety Film to the outside of the imposing Canadian Pacific Shipping Offices in Trafalgar Square, London.

Numerous Health and Safety issues needed to be addressed and detailed liaison with the Local Authority was involved to ensure that business in and around the building could continue unhindered during the works.

Installation of Anglian antishatter grade security film was successfully carried out to 1000 sq. ft of glass spanning five floors of the building by Approved Installers Express Glazing Films Ltd who planned and co-ordinated the project from their Head Office in Kings Cross, London, N1.
