Focus on Security

Continued focus on security issues has led to a worldwide demand for anti-shatter 'bomb blast' protection films on an unprecedented scale.

During a recent visit to the Anglian Manufacturing plant in Norwich, Glass and Glazing Federation Technical Officer, Mr Stephen Rice, took the opportunity to assess some of the security films in the Anglian Range.

Anti-shatter film professionally installed to glazing areas helps to contain flying glass in the event of impact or explosion, thus greatly reducing the incidence of serious injuries and damage that could otherwise occur.

Anglian security films, which are completely clear, are available in the following thicknesses, 100 micron, 175 micron and 300 micron. All products in the range have been tested to the appropriate British and European Standards.
